Obiettivi e risultati
L'insegnamento si pone l'obiettivo di fornire una panoramica sui principali aspetti e problematiche legati ai sistemi informativi aziendali e alle reti che ne costituiscono l'infrastruttura.
Nella prima parte del corso, sui Sistemi Informativi (SI), verranno introdotti i concetti fondamentali relativi alla gestine dei dati e dei processi all'interno di un'azienda (partendo dal concetto stesso di processo aziendale, fino ad arrivare all'analisi di una base dati per estrazione automatica di informazione dai dati). La seconda parte, Gestione delle Reti Aziendali (GR), e' un insegnamento sui sistemi di gestione, che si concentra soprattutto sugli aspetti di gestione distribuita di sistemi distribuiti. L'aspetto preponderante e' quindi quello della comunicazione fra applicazioni e macchine, in primo luogo perche' un sistema distribuito deve essere gestito mediante una piattaforma di gestione che e' a sua volta distribuita sia sulle macchine sottoposte a gestione, sia sulle macchine usate come strumento di gestione; in secondo luogo perche' la comunicazione fra macchine ed applicazioni e' il componente essenziale da gestire.
The course aims to provide students with an overview of the main aspects and issues related to corporate information systems and networks that make up the infrastructure of a business company.
The first part of the course on Information Systems focuses on the the fundamental concepts related to data and process management within a company (starting with the concept of a business process itself, and ending with the analysis of a database for automatic extraction of information from data). The second part, Networks Management, is'a course of management systems, with a focus on the aspects of distributed management of distributed systems. The appearance preponderant is then that of communication between applications and machines, in the first place because a distributed system has to be managed using a management platform and that is in turn distributed on both machines subjected to management, and of the machines used as management tool; secondly because communication between machines and applications, is the essential component to manage.

CAPACITÀ DI APPRENDIMENTO: ci si attende che ogni studente/studentessa sappia interagire in modo attivo con professionisti specializzati nell'ambito dei database e della gestione delle reti.

L'insegnamento è articolato in 64 ore di didattica frontale.
Teaching consists of 64 hours of frontal teaching
Prova scritta - Project Work: durante l'insegnamento studenti/studentesse svilupperanno due progetti virtuali. Uno riguardante lo sviluppo di un'analisi di processi aziendali attraverso i sistemi informativi, ed un altro per la definizione di un sistema di gestione di rete. Nella prova d'esame dovranno esporre le loro scelte progettuali. I due progetti saranno da inviare ai docenti entro la data e ora dell'appello.
Written test - Project Work: the students during the course will develop two virtual projects. One concerning the development of a business process analysis on information systems, the other regarding a network management system. In the examination students will relate the design choices that led them to the final project. The two projects will be sent to the teachers by the date and time of the appeal.
Sviluppo di progetti a livello formale. Uno relativo alla realizzazione di un'analisi dei processi su dati di log in un ambito di gestione aziendale, ed uno realtivo alla implementazione di una architettura di Network Management nel contesto di un Service Provider (applicazioni/servizi di rete).
Development of projects on a formal level. One related to the realization of a business process analysis based on event log in a business management area, and one related to the implementation of a Network Management architecture in the context of a Service Provider (network applications / services).
