Your FINAL EXAM will be happening on May 16th, from 9 am – 12.30 pm. ATTENDANCE OF EVERYONE IS COMPULSORY.
Your Final Exam will consist of (1) a written project/report and (2) a Power Point presentation of the key-points of your research.
In relation to (1), it will regard the research you will be conducting to test the usability of a product/service (preferably an app). Given the unprecedented times we are facing (re Covid-19), and the difficulty of involving real users during your tests, heuristic evaluations will be used (this will be fully addressed in class).
Your final project/report shall be sent via email to: tiziana.callari@unito.it before/on May 15th 11am.
In relation to (2), a presentation of your project will be given on May 16th. A copy of the .ppt presentation will be sent out to: tiziana.callari@unito.it on May 16th as part of the final evaluation.
Teams can be formed (up to two people), to develop your project but be considerate of the requirements following Covid-19.

Programma
Can you think of any products you’ve purchased that were just too complicated to use? Maybe you struggled to figure out how to make them work. Shouldn’t all products or service be designed thinking of how you would use them?
The course outlines the importance of usability design, and provides tools and techniques to the different testing options, to evaluate that the intended product or service accomplish specific goals of interest for the appointed users.
The course is intended for students who aim to become practitioners in usability testing, to help organisations grow their understanding of how to deliver products and services having the users and their goals at the centre of the design process.
